Greg and Michelle were called to the mission field from Calvary
Baptist Church in Taylorville, Illinois, when Herb Hubbard was
their pastor. Both were working in the youth department
when Tommy Moore spoke at the church's mission conference.
Neither discussed their feelings about missions for nearly a
year afterward, but both say that Moore's presentation of Kenya
made a deep impression upon them. After a series of events
led them to believe God had more in store for them, they told
their pastor of their decision to mutually give their lives to
the Lord.
They attended Baptist Bible College and were members of
Bellview Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri. There
they were busy in the ministry for a full nine years. In
1998 they rejoined Calvary Baptist Church for their internship
and continued training. They have experience and a great
desire to serve as missionaries to Kenya.
