February 2005

Dear Praying s Friends,
Praise God from whom all the blessings flow.  Our trust is that everything is going well for you as you start the New Year.  On December 1, 2004, Our family moved in to the church parsonage.  We would like to express our thanks and gratitude for helping us this dream come true.  This helps us as we ministers to the people in the day to day basis.  There are many blessing the parsonage brings.  Big percentage of our monthly support goes into the hands of the unsaved landlords.  House rents are increasing in the regular basis also.  Having free from renting give us additional funds for the ministry and evangelism.  Our Children now have the church compound as playing ground.  Scores of kids were coming each week to play with them.
As we minister to the people each day.  We realized doing ministry here is not easy.  The opposition from the devil is strong.  Thus, we should expect the unexpected from this difficult and deceptive culture. Visitation and evangelism are being done regularly and the gospel is being preached.  We see good number of unsaved professing Christ each week but very few are willing to take the next step, like of attending the church services or following Christ in water baptism.  Many Tanzanian still engaged with some kind of witchcraft.  Even to those who claim to be born again.  A culture that runs deep in the lives of these people.  There are lot of false gospel being preached everywhere that is pulling many from knowing the truth.  With all we see and experienced just enhances our desires to serve more than ever before. Everyday we are praying for wisdom in order to be more effective servants of the Lord.
One of the many things that god had wrought is the blessing of having a good core of Bible Institute Students.  We thank God for these youth.  They are filling many of the church ministries from Singing in the choir, Children ministry to leading the Youth Program.  As we teach them to observe all things and to live a life pleasing to the Lord.  What we see in them are future leaders of this church and other ministries God will entrust to us in the future.  Please pray for them as they also are target of Satan's attack.  Aside from the lessons they are receiving regularly from the Institute.  We gather every Wednesday afternoon for prayers and for supplemental lessons.
We are coming over this April for our first furlough.  We feel excited but little apprehensive of leaving the church that we learned to love.  But we are confident that the Good Shepherd will take care of His flock.  There are many things that need to be done before 30th of March, the day of our departure. We now filling our itinerary for our furlough.  If you are having Missions Conference or you like us to come and visit your church in any of your services.  Please contact us with the emails written below.  We loved to visit and bring good tiding to your church and family.
May God bless you richly.  Thank you so much for you love and support.
