June 2007

Dear Praying friends,
Our hearts are full of thanksgiving as our desire to minister to Tanzanian orphans come to reality this year. The verse in Psalm 37 : 4 “Delight thyself in the Lord, and He shall give thee the desire of thine heart.“ is now true to us. We had to spend much time seeking His will as this is a life changing decision to our family and ministry. Thank you for praying with us while sharing this burden to you. We are 6 years and we saw the needs. The problem of children in need for care and protection in Institution has grown at an alarming rate. The Devil continue to plague this country with poverty, breakdown of the family and abuses. Tanzania is a country that have had long severe epidemic. AIDS is generating orphans so quickly that family structure can no longer cope. Typically, half of all people with HIV become infected before they turn 25, acquiring the deadly disease and dying by the time they turn 35, leaving a generation of children to be raised by their grandparents or relatives who can barely fend themselves, let alone take care of orphans. Our ministry will provide them with basic physical and spiritual needs but our long range goal is to raise a generation of believers whom God will use for His Kingdom. The Orphanages supported by C3 Mission International.

Following are praises and prayers request.
Praises :

  1. Salvation and baptism of an Islamic family. The 3 adults and 2 youths now members of the church.

  2. The hand of God is evident as we went thru the process of registering the Children's home.

  3. Malaika finishing her pre-school this month of June.

Prayer Request :

  1. We need wisdom in screening prospective children for the Orphanage.

  2. Please pray for our Tanzanian staff helping in Orphanage and school ministry.

  3. We are saving money to buy for a second hand vehicle and need $3,000 more.

May the Lord bless your heart and never tire of praying and giving to the Lord's work in Africa.
