Sidebottom Prayer
Letter
March 2009 Dear Friends, Thanks to all of you for your faithful prayer and financial support. So many remembered us with special Christmas greetings. We are grateful The Lord has given us so many precious friends. I have discontinued using one medication which may be the cause of too many red blood cells. I will see my hematologist on April 2nd• The new medication for neuropathy is helping greatly but so far nothing has helped my extreme fatigue and lack of stamina. Thanks for your prayers. We've been asked about the "stories" behind the faces on our last letter so we will share one with you. Bayush, pictured below (the lady in white), and her friend, Asnakech, work at the rug making industry started by Bro. Befekadu Haile to provide work for the very needy single mothers in the Arat Kilo area of Addis Ababa. The hardships many of them face just to keep body and soul together defy description. Over 100 people, including a few men, are employed by this industry. Once a week they break from work and are taught a Bible Lesson. They are also encouraged to attend the services of Arat Kilo Bible Baptist Church held in the same facility every Sunday. Bro. Befekadu's wife, Zeleke has worked faithfully by his side in both the rug making project and the church. Both are graduates of the Bible College we started. Many souls have been saved and have learned how faithful God is to meet the needs of His people through this ministry. YOUR financial gifts made it possible for us to send a sizable gift recently to help with some major maintenance on the buildings. Young people who have grown up in the church are now taking leadership roles. This is YOUR fruit. Thank you for letting us be a part of your Missionary Program. Yours in Christ
