Building Project

May 19, 2007

Dear Friends,

Concerning the Masakhane New Hope Center, last year I was able to erect the steel structure with the roof and side cladding. This last short furlough in the beginning of the year God blessed with more funds being raised that enabled me to come back and resume building. Construction began on May 2nd (Wednesday) with foundations being dug and the block walls going up.

As of yesterday (May 18th - Friday) the block walls are up and the workers have began to plaster the walls. Upon completion of the walls being plastered, the floor will be poured. The electrical work will begin this next week.

Inside the center are two rooms: a storage room and the other for our day care / counseling. The mobile clinic will also use the center. We will use the hall for sports, youth and children's ministries, and workshops. Some of these ministries will be in the hall temporarily until I can complete the front section coming out from the hall.

Below are some pictures showing the progress of the center. Will keep you updated with more photos.
