THE MISSIONARY CALL
Two years ago Ole Konnerup asked me to pray about coming over to Kenya and
working with him training men in his Bible institute, and helping them plant churches. Leah and
I began to pray about it. Last year when Ole and Renee were in the States, we got
together and discussed it. As I asked the Lord what He wanted us to do, the Holy Spirit
seemed to say to me, "What have you been praying about?"
At that moment, I knew that the Lord was calling us to Kenya and we began making
our plans to go. We were approved in May 1997 and, Lord willing, we are setting
August 1998 as our target date to be on the field of Kenya. The picture on the right is of the
Bible Baptist Church of Nakuru, Kenya - a church planted by Ole and Renee Konnerup.
