Note:
While we are in the States on furlough we will be updating
our “Actualité du jour” page once a month.
July 2007
Burkina Faso
Paul wrote to say that he and David have been working on the
situation of Jeanne and feel that they have resolved the
conflict with her father and will be closely monitoring the
situation. They still covet your prayers with this need.
He also wrote to say that the first Sunday he preached in
our absence Mien, a forty year old man, responded to the
invitation in accepting Christ as his personal Savior.
Randy and Tonya Smith arrived safely in Burkina and have
commenced the work with the Dassasgo church and have also
started preparations for the coming year at the Institute.
We have received numerous emails from all of the Institute
students who are greatly encouraged by their arrival and
commencement of ministry.

We are now proud grandparents of a new baby girl. God
allowed us the opportunity to be there when Lani gave birth
to a seven pound two ounce baby girl, twenty and a half
inches long. They have named her Mackenzie Jane Joyce. Both
Josh and Lani are extremely grateful to God for the good
health of both mother and baby.
This month our children will be starting back to school;
three in Bible college and two in high school. It will be an
adjustment for Rebekah, Rachel and Caleb as they integrate
back into American culture.
