Bible Baptist Orphanage in Mbarara, Uganda

Pastor Naboth Atusasire of Bible Baptist Church in Mbarara has a counseling ministry to AIDS patients. Through this counseling ministry and visiting these dying patients in their homes, he has come across a number of orphans living in desperate circumstances. Some have lost both parents to AIDS and are forced to fend for themselves on the streets or have been turned over to relatives who do not care for them or cannot afford to provide for their needs. After discovering many orphans suffering in such circumstances, Pastor Naboth had an overwhelming burden to help them, so he started a small orphanage and school as a ministry of the church. Now the orphans have a clean place to stay, food to eat, and are getting an education.

Pastor Naboth shows great love and care to these orphans. He has daily devotions with them each evening. Most of the orphans get saved within the first week of coming to the orphanage. Pastor Naboth personally disciples those who get saved and counsels those who have been abused or have suffered traumatic experiences. These precious children now have hope for the future and a chance to grow up to be men and women who can make a difference for God.

Of course, it costs money to house, feed, clothe, and educate these dear orphans. It costs $75.00 per month to sponsor an orphan in the orphanage, or $900 for the whole year. If you would like to sponsor an orphan, please contact Russ & Sylvia Daniels at rsdaniels.uganda@gmail.com.
