Prayer Letter
January 2008
Dear Praying Friends:
We wish you an Ethiopian Merry Christmas.
Ethiopian New Years was celebrated in September, at which time they
entered the new millennium. It is now the year 2000 here in
Ethiopia. According to their calendar, Christmas is celebrated in
January. Therefore, we now wish you a blessed Merry Christmas.
We are looking forward to His blessings in 2008. We were blessed to
see souls saved and baptized, and the North Way Bible Baptist Church
in Fitche, Ethiopia registered in 2007.
We are blessed to have Gerwin Alconera and his wife, Cecile, and our
Ethiopian brothers and sisters working together with us to see a new
Baptist church planted.
Pray for a Bible Conference with the Sudanese pastors and
evangelists to be held in February/March 2008.
Pray for the opening of a Baptist outreach in Southern Sudan.
Pray that the Lord will call missionaries to work in planting
churches in Southern Sudan.
We wish to praise the Lord for His faithfulness to us and His work
in these 41 years of missionary service. Thank you for partnering
with us.
